There is a common misunderstanding that infertility only affects women. However, male infertility is just as prevalent. Male infertility Mountain View affects 5 percent of couples who have trouble conceiving despite having unprotected sex for more than one year.

Even though fertility normally falls with age, male infertility may be prevented. Whether you want to have a family soon or years from now, there are steps you can take to improve your fertility. Moreover, assisted reproductive technology techniques are available to aid in circumstances when male infertility cannot be prevented.

Here are tips to boost male fertility.

    Maintain a consistent workout routine

Regular exercise benefits your general health, increases testosterone levels, and enhances fertility.

Men who exercise regularly tend to have greater testosterone levels and higher-quality semen than their less active counterparts.

However, too much activity might have the reverse effect and lower testosterone levels, so moderation is key. Optimal zinc intake may help reduce this danger. If you want to boost your fertility but are seldom active, making exercise a priority is necessary.

    Reduce stress

Stress makes it difficult to be in the mood, but there may be more to it than just not being in the mood for sex. Stress may lessen your desire for sexual activity and harm your fertility. When you are stressed, cortisol levels rise, and testosterone production often decreases.

If you have severe, unexplained anxiety, your doctor may recommend you take anxiety medications. While relaxation methods are effective for lesser kinds of stress. You can reduce stress by Walking in the park, practicing mindfulness, running, or hanging out with good friends.

    Quit smoking

Smoking does not only harm your lungs; it also affects sperm production. According to research, smoking reduces sperm count and motility, leading to male infertility. Fortunately, you can reverse this by stopping smoking. Even after three months of quitting smoking, you will see a great recovery in semen volume, sperm count, and sperm concentration.

    Eat a healthy diet

Consuming refined carbohydrates, fried meals, added sugars, and red meat may lead to Low sperm counts, decreased motility, and poor sperm morphology.  You can improve your sperm quality by eating a diet that includes fish, lean chicken, fruits, vegetables, legumes, and healthy grains.  Also, eating a diet high in fruits and vegetables, particularly dark green leafy may help improve sperm concentration and motility.

    Reduce your alcohol consumption

Excess drinking may lead to weight gain, dehydration, erection dysfunction, and other health issues. However, you need not give up alcohol entirely. Consuming alcohol in moderation, particularly if it includes antioxidants like those found in wine and whiskey, may improve fertility. Limit alcohol use to no more than five units per week, equivalent to around four beers, three mixed drinks, or three glasses of wine, to boost sperm quality.

    Take male fertility supplements

Antioxidants and other vital nutrients present in male fertility supplements help promote healthy sperm production and good male hormone health and protect sperm from harm. Try to get a multivitamin with CoQ10, vitamin D, lycopene, selenium, zinc, and folate.
